The boys and I went to visit a property in Olympia that sounded really wonderful but ended being a bog. But they had fun running around the high and dry areas. They found some shells someone had tossed off of their porch from the house directly above the road we walked and were excited to keep their new found treasures until they hopped in the van to go home and I climbed in after to buckle Ammon and took a whif of the air. Yuck!!! What is that smell?! The shells they so carefully gathered were oyster shells and had been eaten some time ago and had rotted on the wet ground. It took a while to clean off their hands after I chucked ( :) the things out the door. I wasn't too happy to realize that they had carried their precious newfound keepsakes in thier coats. What a stench! But I took some nice pictures of them on our nature walk that I will upload.

Jacob's looking a little too big for me. He's only like 6 right...?
Oh, and I love the pic of Hyrum holding the rock. So fun and the great part is that it wouldn't be as cute if he weren't wearing that coat and hood!
P.S. that deleted comment was mine that I accidentally posted twice. I didn't know it would leave a "deleted" comment.
Wow! They are growing so fast! Can't wait to see them, love the picture of Gideon! As well as Jacob (the last one) So Big!
